Director's Message

Welcome to the new virtual home of the Campbell County Public Library System! We hope that you will find this new “branch” as friendly, informative, and easy to use as our physical locations.

In this Information Age, we take very seriously our role in providing you quick access to accurate data, eliminating your time and exertion in filtering good information from misleading information.  Your research and recreational information needs are important to us and we are so pleased to improve our services through our website.

We have recently added two new assets to our home page. The Learning Express Library (click on the big lightbulb!) has test preparation courses and practice exams for everything from SAT's to the EMS exam to Cosmetology and Plumbing practice exams. It also has some skill building for reading, writing, vocabulary, and math for ages 4th grade and up, as well as GED practice.  LEL also has a section in Spanish!  LEL can be accessed from any computer at home or in the library or in the workplace and does NOT require a library card.

Also, on our home page, Career Transistions provides one stop career guidance from a skills inventory and interest assessment to help with developing a resume and cover letter, career opportunites and tips for job search success.  Also, it has a live search function that cross searches Monster, Hot Jobs, the local newspapers, Indeed, and many other job search sites--you only need to search Career Transistions, rather than visit each site separately.  You can access Career Transistions from any internet connected computer, but you will need your library card to log in.  Remember, library cards are free and could be your key to your next job.  Come by and branch today!
