Timberlake Road

The Friends of the Timbrook Library are supporters of the Timbrook Library programs and services. Recently, the Friends have provided the library with new shelving for the Young Adult area. They have also agreed to purchase two stools for the Young Adult area and a new chair for the Early Literacy Station desk.

Get Involved

Ongoing Book Sale and Annual BIG Book Sale The Friends maintain an ongoing book sale in the Timbrook Library during regular library hours.  In addition, they hold an annual 2-day big book sale in the Spring and occasionally another in the Fall.

Book Donations to support the sales  Public donations are crucial for our sales; we resell books, video and audio cassettes, and DVDs. Donations of materials in good condition (and from a smoke-free home) are appreciated and can be delivered directly to the library during regular hours.  We love cookbooks, craft books, sewing books and novels (both hardback & paperback).  Unfortunately, we are unable to accept textbooks, medical books, encyclopedias or reference books.  PLEASE do not put donations in the outside book drop box.

Monetary Donations  Accepted in the form of cash or check any time during regular library hours.

Membership  You can join the Friends while at the Timbrook Library and attend their quarterly meetings. For additional information, please contact Wayne Holt, president (239-7336), Claudette Engelke, vice-president (willengelke@jetbroadband.com) or Timbrook library staff (239-1190).
