This six week program is designed for children ages 3—5 years old and is intended to provide you and your child a positive library experience
based on books and language. We read 2 to 3 books, sing songs,
perform fingerplays and make a take home craft.
Here are some guidelines to help ensure a successful
program for everyone:
* Please make every effort to arrive ten minutes early so your child can visit the restroom, receive a name tag and get settled in the programming area. Arriving late is sometimes unavoidable, but please come in and join us with as little distraction as possible.
* If your child, no matter what the age, becomes restless or
distracting to others, please feel free to step out of the
programming area and “regroup”.
* Recognizing the energy level and short attention span of this age group, please supervise your child at all times.
* Please be respectful of the programmer and do not visit with other adults during the program. Please set a good example for your child.
Our goal is to create an atmosphere of fun and help each child
develop a love of books! Plan to check out books so your child
can take the Storytime experience home. If you need to get a
library card, you will need 2 forms of identification: a photo ID
and something else with your current address.
