Campbell County Public Library would like to invite children ages 5 and up to the “Paws to Read” program. Paws to Read is a very simple concept. Children read to “Bailey the Library Dog” in a positive nonthreatening and fun environment. Bailey listens and doesn’t tease, laugh or joke at the child. Many children have already benefited from the program and the opportunity to read to such a non-critical, caring listener! Children can come to the Rustburg library every Thursday from 3:30 ~ 4:30 beginning September 9, 2010 and read to Bailey. This program is free of charge and is open to the public. Preregistration is not required to attend Paws to Read.
