Don't wait until your weight makes you seriously sick!  Learn how to lose weight the healthy way.  Join us for this free program in Brookneal beginning Tuesdays, October 26th- November 16th.  Each week a guest speaker will address a weight-related health issue and give tips on losing weight.  A healthy lunch is included, and children are welcome.  Click here for registration information.

Overdrive Audiobooks and Ebooks are coming!

Beginning in late December, the Campbell County Public Library will offer free checkouts of both audiobooks and ebooks.  Both can be downloaded to your home computer or laptop and then transferred to a number of portable devices, including Nook, Ipod, Blackberry, and various mp3 players.

FRIENDS FUNDRAISER

The Friends of the Patrick Henry Memorial Library in Brookneal are having a fundraiser for the library.  A "bargain" table is set up with new and used gift items at low and reduced prices ($1 and up).  The sale will be held during regular library hours.  We appreciate your support!

Test Prep Help and MS Office Tutorials!

Learning Express Library is now available to help you prepare for tests from the GED to PRAXIS, LSATS,MCATS, as well as career tests such as EMS, Cosmetology, and Electrician.  Academic help is also available for all school grades.  Also, LEL offers tutorials on all MS Office 2007 products including Word, Publisher, Excel and Outlook, along with a variety of other computer applications.  You will set up your own free account so that you can work on things at your own pace and LEL will save it for you.  Let us know if you need any assistance!

One-on-one Computer Help
Did you know you can receive one-on-one help with computer use at the Main Library in Rustburg, Timbrook Library, and Patrick Henry Memorial Library? Stop by or call your library branch to set up a "Computer Tutor" appointment!

Basic Computer Literacy Classes Free to the Public  Learn to operate a computer, move a mouse, create a document, email, and use the internet in these free, small classes.  Rustburg session beginning in November.  Call your desired location for more information.

Coffee & Comments Book Clubs
